To see who’s speaking this month, click here.On the first Saturday evening of every month, the Twin Cities SAA Intergroup hosts a meeting at which a member of SAA or COSA shares their experience, strength and hope in a talk that is generally more in-depth than time would allow in most other SAA TC meetings.  The speaker’s talk is preceded and followed by fellowship with snacks and beverages, making for a relaxed, sociable, and thoughtful evening of recovery – one of the reasons this meeting has become one of the most popular and fastest growing meetings in the Twin Cities.

If you’re interested in finding out for yourself why so many in our fellowship love this meeting, just look below for the information on the next meeting and drop on by.  We’re confident that you will find it to be time well spent, both for your recovery and your spirit.  Hope to see you there!

We’d like to hear your story
If you have a year’s sobriety in this program, have worked the steps, and have not spoken at this meeting in a number of years, please consider volunteering.  This is a wonderful, important, 12th Step opportunity, one that will most assuredly help your own program as much as it will for the programs of those who attend.  We’re not necessarily looking for a polished, entertaining speaker so much as someone who, through the program and the steps, has experienced a significant (1yr +) stretch of sobriety as has known the struggles as well as the victories that comes with such a journey.  Experience fist-hand how your experience, strength & hope can and will benefit others.

So, if you fit the above description, firstly, ASK YOUR SPONSOR IF SPEAKING AT THIS MEETING WOULD BE A GOOD THING FOR YOUR PROGRAM RIGHT NOW.  Secondly, after your sponsor has told you “Yes.  Yes it is” and you’ve decided to give it a go, please either leave a message stating such at (651) 646- 1970 along with your name (first name, last initial) and contact number, or email the same to saatcrecovery@gmail.com
